Several blocks are blocked off 's a truly mixed bag of straight, gays, drags, dogs and vendors and is really fun. On Thursday evenings, there is StreetFair. The Hyatt is right downtown and within staggering-back distance from the bars on Arenas.no need to drive drunk. The Riviera, The Hilton or The Hyatt are great and really nice and since it's summer, their rates are low. But, how fucking convenient!!! Or, just walk next door to Streetbar and have martoony while your clothes are drying. There's an interesting laundry next door where you can get done while doing your mor ONLY. Streetbar is cool.many of the locals can be seen there as early as 10AM starting on a bender. If you like old-style bars, Toucans is cool and if you(ahem)are into drag shows, Sunday afternoon is DragDivaDay. The Tool Shed is really small, dark and really stinky in side. The Barracks ACTUALLY has showers in the back.LOL. I have been to both the Barracks and the Tool Shed.not my style at all but curious about what leather bars are all about. I like the openess of the bar and the decor. My favorite is Hunter's on Arenas(where most of the gay bars are). If staying at a gay resort, expect to get either crabs or scabies from the bed linens. If you have a gym bod, you'll love it.you can parade yourself around with your tiny junk swinging in the breeze and all the 90 year old rich coots will swoon. Yes, most of the gay resorts ARE clothing optional.
Blackbook Bar strives to be inclusive to all-the opposite of the Blackbook investigations-hence why the word “Black” in their logo is backwards.ħ60.832.I have lived in the PS area since 2003. Local Insight: Blackbook Bar ’s name was inspired by the Blackbook investigations into people who were excluded and not allowed into Las Vegas casinos. Order one of their crafty signature cocktails, and enjoy a cool evening with friends and loved ones on the patio. With room for all your friends and an inclusive and safe atmosphere, this hotspot is one that everyone will love. Try the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich or the Palm Springs-Style Nachos, which come covered in two types of cheeses, tomato, jalapeño, sour cream, scallions, salsa roja and your choice of protein. Known for their delectable flavors, Blackbook is more than just a bar. Gray walls, marble countertops and black tiling create a clean and modern feel, yet the space still seems light and inviting. Sleek design meets delicious food at Blackbook Bar. Local Insight: For a refreshing drink order, Stacy’s VIP Express made with house-infused pineapple vodka! Stacy’s is not a dance club, although guests do sometimes sway and sing along to the music being performed-who can resist Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon”? The bar is smaller, creating an intimate space to chat with friends or enjoy a night of great music. Smooth piano tunes and contemporary classics fill the welcoming space, and nightly entertainment sets the scene most nights. You’re going to find above-average people but not above-people people.”ħ60.778.4326 Gay Bars Palm Springs Stacy’s Palm Springs Credit: Maurício Mascaro / Pexelsįor those who like jazz music, good company and a sophisticated vibe, Stacy’s Palm Springs is the place for you.
